Well, another year is almost gone, and to bring in the new year, Eternity Trio is looking forward to a wonderful New Year's Eve celebration at my church, Unity Baptist. It will be a happy time, but also will bring tears of sadness to me as I remember my precious pastor, Bro. Jerome McLendon, being there with us at last year's celebration. He's gone to be with the Lord now, but his spirit will always be a part of this celebration. He loved gospel singing so much!
Our group has now been together almost two years. It sure has gone by fast!!! We are now a quartet instead of a trio!! My nephew, Ken Carman, is now singing with us. I am a very proud aunt!!!! In my last writing, I told how our group came together and what it meant to me. I can still say what a blessing it is!! I still thank God every day for our group. We are enjoying each other and our fellowship as much now as when we first started. When we miss a week of practice, I feel lost!! It's like when you miss a service at church, you feel empty and missing something---that's the way it is with our practice time. We sing, we laugh, we worship God in song and prayer!!!!
As the new year approaches, I would like to thank everyone of you that visits our website and comes to support us at our singings. What a blessing it is to be able to worship God in song and to share that love with other people. My prayer for the new year is that we will be ready and available for whatever door God opens for us.
We wish you all a very Happy New Year, and may God bless you and keep you wrapped in his tender mercies.
Love to you all,
Linda
